‘Kakadu in Flood (numbers 1-15)’

This is one of a series painted after visiting Kakadu National Park in northern Australia. It was shortly after the monsoon rains (‘the wet’) had passed. It is a place of extraordinary beauty; of fluctuation balances between dry and wet; captivating complexity coupled with uncertainty and tension of crocodiles that  move with the changes.
