‘Kakadu in Flood (numbers 1-15)’

This is one of a series painted after visiting Kakadu National Park in northern Australia, shortly after the monsoon rains (‘the wet’) had passed. It is a place of extraordinary beauty; of fluctuating balances between wet and dry; of captivating complexity coupled with uncertainty and tension of the hidden danger of crocodiles that move with the changes.
